People of higher IQ aren't on a higher playing field per se, but I think they have more responsibility to advance the knowledge base of humanity than the person of average IQ.Ignorance is bliss. If you think your on a higher playing feild due to iQ then you are truly mistaken.
Smart or dumb, the future is inevitable.
.
I’m curious, what specifically is life success to you?
There is no point in having a goal that you can't achieve, IMO. But I think I probably do have the IQ to achieve my goals, otherwise I wouldn't have set them, if I truly had a low IQ, I would assess my own intelligence as being much higher than it actually is, as per the Dunning-Kruger effect, but for that reason, I am very careful when it comes to thinking about my own IQ, it's a bit paradoxical.![]()
CarpCharacin goals change all the time especially at you're age. Is great to start setting them and have something to strive for but dont bog yourself down with IQ.

Maybe molecular biology or biophysics. What area of science do want to go into ?
Yeah, but I worry, I almost feel like the expectations are set too low at school. I fear that when I go to college, I will be unable to handle the work, as it takes me very little effort to get the grades that I do right now. It's pretty much just showing up, TBH.Im sure there will be tons of studies involved. You just said that you get all A's so at the least you can retain what you're studying at a high level, and you are willing to work you're butt off. Wouldnt that be 90% of the battle ?

Yeah, but I worry,.
I fear

, I will be unable to handle the work, .
So long story short: I got a high score on an IQ test as a young child, I took another IQ test a few months ago, deliberately skipped questions I could have answered because I was tired, and obviously got a lower score. Now I am deeply regretting doing so, because I don't know if my true IQ has dropped or not.
