Yup prob prego

She will give birth at night when the lights are off. Thats their natural instinct

I would throw a divider in and just keep her sectioned off until she gives birth

I know thats the way to go, and I was thinkijg of doing a half way up the tank divider, but the bottom line is I'd rather lose the pups (I know that sounds horrible) then have my tiger fish kill themselves against the divider ... I'm just gonna have to roll the dice and hope I catch it ... I appreciate the input though man, and I'm certainly going to try and devise a way to protect her from the cats ... I dont fear anyone else harming the pups, just the cats, so if I can make it difficult for the cats to get around maybe it'll work, who knows, cause they are rediculously strong

On another note, how rare are greyish/almost bluish Henli rays ... I've seen a few pics on the web and they are just beautiful with big almost BD type spotting? I'm def going to be moving into the P12-P13 area in the next year or 2 and was curious?

Thanks guys, much appreciated ... I got to get a vid up of the goonches going food crazy, it is unbelievable, you'd love it Chicx .... but thank goodness they've been a little more relaxed as of late .... I've been buying these marble sized bay scallops from my local grocery store and giving them that just to fill them up ... otherwise they will literally eat a solo cup full of pellets, and I dont want to think of their growth if I let that happen too often! Lol!

Quick shot of some noticeable squirming in the back of my prego female hystrix, she decided to bed down in a nice spot for filming, although i had to film through the back of the tank that unfortunately has some algae

Planning on moving her? I'd go that route before even giving them Goonch a glimmer of hope for a softshell flatfish taco. IF you're pup tank's on the same water and you're not willing to divide off the tank she's in or move the Goonchys I'd plop her in the pup tank.

Just my .02. Those are some very expensive feeders.
