ATF/Dorado/Goonch/Datnoid PICS!!

Well no more worrying about the pups being eaten by the cats ... both goonches are in time out in the 220 and all the other fish are back in the big tank! Goonch attacked my smallest goliath at some point during the night really bad, highly doubt the goliath is going to make it .... but I must say, if he were to attack anyone, he is the one I'd choose ... he was way smaller cause he's a picky eater, and I have 3 goliaths, everyone else is a single specimen ... sucks either way, but we'll see .... its better for everyone involved, except the goonches, but they deserve it cause their causing all the problems! Lol! I tailored the 220 to their needs, its just a dirtier tank, less turnover and less mechanical filtration so I just hope they do alright and its def a bit small for them, but only time will tell ... on a happeir note, bambusa is actually huge! Didnt realize how big he got until I netted him, so he should do fine downstairs ...

Tough to tell, but his eye is messed up and he has some really deep gouges, along with missing scales .... he other side is basically scaless but less deep wounds ... either way he's doing the drunken swim a bit so I'm def not getting my hopes up

And then theres bambusa, he's thinner than everyone else, but is prob around 14-15 inches long so I think he'll be ok ... plus Dorado isnt beating him up, which is always a plus!

Ahh well, when you play with fire your bound to get burned! Thanks though, I knew it was an issue, guess I just let myself get my hopes up that he would play nice ... he's just so big! I'm actually noticing wounds on the other 2 goliaths as well, not half as bad though and not life threatening ... guess goonchy was really hungry last night, so in a way I'm lucky he didnt get ahold of my prized big goliath or the VATF or Armatus

And he is no more .... incredible how big these fish are when taken out of the water ... by the looks of it this guy may have spent some time in the belly of the cat, then spit back out judging by the massive amount of scales lost on both sides ... anyway he was a beauty, stubborn as far as not eating a lot and getting to eat different foods, but a beauty non-the-less ... he was actually the biggest Goliath when I bought him, and he was called Jaws from that day forth, although the others surpassed him in size later on ...

About 13.5 inches .... means my biggest has got to be every bit of 16

That's terrible. I'm sorry for your loss. :(

Those goonches are beastly. Do you think you might have to get rid of them now? What's your plan for them? I'd hate to see them go, but it looks like you might be getting to a point where you have to make some hard decisions, just like me.

Good luck brother!
