When you turn off the lights at night time, is it pitch black in the room/aquarium, or is there a little light? I notice Aro's tend to be more aggressive when they are in pitch black. You could try using a low illumination blue LED night light at night time and see if it reduces aggression.

The room/tank they are in is dimly lit. There is no aggression between the two, but they beat the hell out of the third which was only in the tank overnight. With my pair of silvers that have been together well over two years it doesn't matter if the tank is pitch black or not.

I'm hoping to get update pics of the baby's by this weekend. The pair has been moved to a 75g and the two smaller ones are now in the planted tank with a divider.
