I don't think we can say 'all'. There will always be an oddball. But for the most part, the Chao Praya pulcher will show that same tail pattern. There's also some very old threads on WW, lot's of good in them.
Take a look at the pictures that Prskiller and ICHIBAN DRAGON last posted.Looks like the same fish but what do you think of them?

It arrived, alive. Penn to Hawaii. Pics suck, I sold my Nikon D90 for a sup so I have a pos camera.

As karun pointed out it's very unlikely you'll find a real ST because the last ones were caught in Thailand over 10 years ago now. Chances are all pulchers (unless massive) are either Cambodian or Vietnamese pulchers.

Blacktip what's you view on them being available in the US in greater numbers and cheaper than they are available for in SEA?
Why is it reported that Japanese buyers have snapped them up when ever they're caught at source for far greater money that they're reportedly being sold to the final customer 7000 miles away from source, but still the suppliers at source think it's a better idea to take less money for them by sending them through a supply chain that end up in the US?
I'm not having a go, i just can't figure this part out.

They certainly are not showing up here in great numbers. In fact I have yet to see any pictures of any of them actually here in the US. I have heard rumors of individuals that have them but if they do really have them, they are keeping it to themselves. I know of at least one vendor who is offering them for sale for $400+ for 3"-4" but he has only provided a sample photo from his supplier and he has less than 50 available. The photo is definitely a CT but if you ask me, it's too much money to buy a dat that you won't be able to hand pick yourself.

I don't expect to see a large number of these in the US anytime soon, if ever again. Everyone is too skeptical to order them before they can see them, and they're too expensive for a vendor to bring a bunch of them in without knowing if they can sell them. Add in the fact that there are so many questions as to what dat is what here, it's not worth the headache.

I think for the next few years at least, if not longer, we will have to look at pictures and videos if we want to see juvenile ST/CT.
