I find it really funny how you guys think you can get rare fish cheaper than you can in the country or region of origin. If you're selling that fish as a "Mekong tiger" you're ripping people off.

I have seen that and they still look indo to me

I wouldn't be buying them that's for sure They are not even high grade ST look a like the exporters must be getting desperate now they took a few pics of some high grade indos now they must be finding it hard to keep up the high standard as they are not even nice

I was a little confused about the first question that you asked.I thought you might have been mocking my choice of words or description but then you used the same words to describe your indos.To answer your question though,yes I do own an ST that is outgoing as was the previous ST that I owned and all others that I had the pleasure of seeing up close.Most of all of the indos I have had over the years have acted shy at one time or another.There were those that I've had that were not shy but the two different fish just act different in my observation.Good for you if you have been fortunate to have very active and outgoing indos.

As most ST we see are 15 inch + of course they are out going get a 15 inch + IT and that will be out going

Here's something that another member here pointed out; that in his experience, ITs always have a 'bulge' on this bar seen here. The chaopraya Pulcher never does. Just to add more confusion to this '3-bar indo' vs Cambodian Pulcher debate

If we're going by the tail as stated above its an IT. Does the tail always hold true?

The tail stripes are not 100% true but you won't catch me paying big money for even a real ST with IT tail stripes

I'm not a dat person so I'm probably missing something. If it's really this hard to tell CT and IT apart then why not buy IT. Also what makes ST so much better than a nice 3 bar IT. Hopefully someone has pics to demonstrate.

How do you know,youv'e seen all big Indo Dats and you can guarantee how all of them will behave?
