I like your little ricci's...not the easiest to keep (my experience) but we will see how they do! :D

I've read mixed reviews. Not fussy. Fussy. Seems to be a lot of mixed feelings about these guys. We'll see what happens. Keeping my fingers crossed. Corals are a whole new ball game for me.:nilly:

Its true...my buddy is growing them on tufa with crushed coral a HOB and spiral CFL's with monthy h2o changes if that.

My tank...MH...everything...they just shrink.

Some people say low light, some people say high light. Who knows.

It seems that there is quite a bit of 'GREY' area when it comes to corals in general.

A couple new pickups the other day

a nice colony of buttons. It's a little hard to tell in the pic, but there is three different varieties present

And this piece that my wife picked out. It's quite nice. I'm not sure what these guys are called though. Any insight?

Nice little pastel zoas. And I think those are clove polyps...not fo sho though.

Thanks Fleshy for pointing me in the right direction. I've come up with
Encrusting Anthelia (Anthelia spp. ) for the second pic. Seems for the most part clove polyps have a bit more of a 'feathered finger' than what my specimens have. Reasonable assumption?

I *think* clove polyps and encrusting polyps/anthelia are one in the same. They will, with good water conditions, spread like a weed.

So isolate that rock unless you are ok with them spreading.
