Bacteria affecting new rays

so how is everyone?
 
I hope your med get there soon, this is very unfortunate. The only thing I can think of to help get them eating agian is somehow dividing the tank up so they are int here own individual quarintined area and feed blackworms. I have seen some really bad shape rays before and separating them from the other rays and fish and giving them there own food source with no compition. It takes some time but usaully they will come around and eat the blackworms. I just trying to throw anything out there that might help you out. I got my fingures cross that they get better soon for you.

Thanks the meds just got here so I'll head home and start the treatment. Dividing up the tank would be hard to do with the small tops. There is allways food left over after feeding but some just aren't interesed right now. Hopefully things will turn around now. I'm just thankful these rays were such good eaters when I first got then and were able to put on some weight.
 
Bout time!!! Dam FED EX. I have been tracking this everyday and we had great progress the first day then the package seemed to be held in the same location for over 24 hours...... IF they only knew.

Actually I'm suprised it got here that quick. I've had stuff sent priority overnight and have not gotten here for 3 days. I'm not sure if it's because of the border crossing or just a remote town? Thanks for the concern , hopefully you helped save my rays. :)
 
I think it's a little early to see if the meds had taken full effect. The areas of white seem to have faded a bit but the edges of the disk still look like pleated curtains. I will post some new pics tommorow to see if you guys think I should do another treatment or wait for awhile. All the rays have began eating now and the one with a dent is pretty aggresive towards food so I think everything should work out. The strength of rays to recover still amazes me to no end
 
Glad to here they are all eating again, that is a start!
