No need to get angry. The exotic vet tech around here usually ask about the enclosure and husbandry practice first before admitting it to the vet. 
Usually 90% of the problems with herptiles lie in husbandry. Sometimes something happen overnight like a cold snap that can throw them completely off.
Edit: Hell, in most of the cases admitted, they don't even need medications.
