A ray is a ray, a half dead black ray does not have the same chance of survival as a perfectly fine retic that just isnt eating lol... Possibly 15 minutes is too long, but when they ray isnt showing any signs of stress, its an obvious move to keep going until the set amount of time. Either way, the experiment failed, neither will I be trying this method again with more expensive rays as it seems your idea is cheap rays have zero chances of survival.

So this "miracle cure" fails and it's Gshock's fault for "not doing it right?" Too much salt or too long of timeframe? He asked repeatedly how much salt and for how long. Gshock did nothing wrong. He followed directions to the T.

If this miracle cure can't be reproduced there's nothing miracle about it.

hey buddie i repeated this 3 times with 3 different rays he kept the ray in the salt water too long

if you are not confident dont do it."i am"
i used this treatment on 3 blackrays not a $30 retic i know it works maybe just leave the ray for 5 minutes than instead of 15 but he said the ray was calm and seemed fine

LOL, buddy, YOU'RE the one who stated 15 minutes, Im just following the instructions given. Don't go blaming me for leaving the ray in there for 15 minutes when YOU specifically said 15 minutes. Let me repeat, YOU are the one who says 15 minutes and now YOU are the one who says 15 minutes is too much. Which one is it? May I remind you that you are also the one who stated 1/2 pounds of salt in 5 gallons of water. Please don't start arguing that I put too much salt. And just to remind you, a ray is a ray LOL, your black ray does not have a superior power that gives it a higher chance of survival. It seems you have the idea that the price tag of a fish determines how big of a chance it has to survive. Had I decided to actually buy blackworms, the retic would've probably started eating, I'm pretty confident about saying a healthy retic is going to have a much bigger chance at survival than your half dead black ray. Please, lets not be childish and argue about the relationship between price and survival percentages. It's just completely illogical. In case you did not see the above, I'll say it again, YOU said 15 minutes, YOU said 1/2 pounds of salt per 5 gallons, Im merely just following instructions.

Congrats "buddy"! Glad it worked for you! Maybe the 4th time you do it you can write down exactly what you did so you're not sitting here blaming someone else for your inability to give decent directions. You could have said the whole time you needed time to perfect the recipe, but instead you insisted it's effectiveness by giving directions that were carried out exactly as you gave them.
