Not to flame but I have to say, you are kidding yourself if you honestly believe a stock list like that will or can work long term in a tank that size. Aggression issues will change everything but even if we take aggression out of the scenario, the bio-load alone on that tank will guarantee that all the fish will never even have a chance of reaching their true potential. Honestly,I wouldn't even dream of a stock list like that in my 800+gal tank.

My 800+gal with only 6 cichlids, all of which are still growing. Now be honest to yourself and imagine your stock list, fully grown in a 180g.

did it last long?

it was like a reality show once a month a contestant was dismissed until only the red devil snakehead and pike were left. then my cousins daughter killed them . i miss that tank the jack and pike would be at it all the time. the red devil ran the tank and the snakehead was the judge.

actually its temporarily i am getting a 96x24x36 tank soon but i am only keeping a few fish when they are older like maybe only 6-10 full grown, but for now my tank would look small with 6 fish in it, ps check out this thread its my inspiration tank, http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?389989-1500l-american-cichlids-tank

That tank is extremely over crowded, and cruel. It makes me sick.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Every fish i own has a permanent home even if things dont work out in a particular tank. And even then, id just buy another tank to house them. That tank is grossly overcrowded purely from a biological standpoint. Its no wonder there are less fish at the end of the thread. Overcrowding is one thing, but that tank goes a bit past that. just my 2c of course. Like I said, I have 6 cichlids in a 300 and I feel I am at the limits of what might work longterm. And that's a big might..........
