sorry, i did mean texas chiclid, i dont think you read my post properly i said he should keep a jag, flowerhorn or texas chiclid but not a grammodes or dovi. everyone has different opinions of fish, this is mine.

well i was gonna say cuban, and the african buttikoferi... ive been experimenting with my 180g for the last year with lots of juvie cichlids and find my butti being my fav my a long shot, prob then my 'veija fenstratus catmaco'.... polleni is another pretty african more sociable than the butti. a good red devil, maybe with some unique patching to make it more special. lots of pretty fish out there good luck.

I think you should look into Amphilophus or maybe parachromis

I vote Parachromis if you were to do a single wet pet...

Anything else, I would suggest a group of Geophagus Red Head Tapajos! As adults they are stunning, they stick together mostly and would love a 150 gallon.. 5 or 6 of them swimming around in a Species only tank with some nice natural simple aquascaping would make for an outstanding tank!

A FEMALE Dovii would be a tight fit but would fit. A single or pair of jags would be nice.A FEMALE umbee would be a tight fit but it would fit. if i were you i would get a pair of jags though.

Totally agree with that. I have to say I do love the personality of the FH's though. Red devil is a great one. One of my favorite fish to ever own was my Midas to be honest, very personable fun fish. Not really aquirable looks wise to everyone I'm sure though.
