If you can get it locally, Hikari carnivore or Hikari vibrabites since he looks to be less than 5". You might have to break up the carnivore. Be aware your water may get stinky from the Hikari carnivore.

Thank you! I'll look at both of these, and use either one, whichever seems to fit his size better. Thank you so much!

To be honest, I do not believe that there is a certain diet that will help you lose weight.

From my perspective, having a diet rich in fruits and vegetables will be more beneficial for your body. Moreover, you will also need to work out if you want to lose weight besides keeping a healthy diet. For instance, I've started working out this year and realized that if I want to lose weight, I have to work out at least twice a week. Also, I've understood that a smart scale is very handy for a person that started going to the gym. This gives you a good understanding of your results.

Okay so where is this going, and how is this related to fish.... and why would even quote yourself? Are you getting ready to SPAM folks or BOT this site?

Hikari 100% does NOT make my list of "quality foods" by a long shot. It's junk IMO. NLS and Northfin are the best quality pellets out there. Omega One, depending on the specific food, is decent - I consider it a mid-grade pellet, still better than most out there. Bug Bites are amazing for carnivores or omnivores.

Yep, not "the best" out there but still pretty good and a lot better than most others on the market.

I'm guessing the bichir will like the Northfin carnivore wafers. I have never kept bichirs but I know it's high quality and my clown loaches love it.

I have heard that many farmers who raise fish or cattle use a "growth hormone" supplement or other SARMS preparations.
