yeah i see a coupl eof japan sites that carry Bichir Bichir and yet we do not have one available and are they very rare in Africa that causes the price to go that high

its expensive because fish in japan are usually more expensive, and if a fish is rare (in the hobby), the prices then become insane because hobbyists there are really hardcore and are willing to pay, which i'm sure helps drive the price up. if you know their prices for ansorgii and teugelsi and some other bichirs, you'll know what i mean. the price would come down though when the market no longer supports the current price. Of course sometimes the japanese also put a lot of effort into locating certain fish in the wild, eg. Pbb, and that probably contributes to the cost as well.
whoa really a canoe full of bichir bichir jesus thats a money boat. but an ansorgeii price dropped down from 500 to 300 in a span of a year or so. im hoping for a drop in price for the fish or rich from infinite aquatics sell it for dirt cheap lolz
