yeah the big ones did.
and yeah you're right i think i recall seeing some small (12" and under) ansorgii going for about that much at one or two places online, and that'd be one of the lowest. The average price on various japanese sites is more than that however.

those are some nice bichirs... only a couple misidentifications.
what they have marked as mokelembembe are actually palmas palmas and
the ones marked retropinnis are juvenile buettikoferi.
