Freeze the dead fish for 24 hours teh let it submerge on the bleach for 2 days or more. Depends on how long the flesh will rot away. Once that done you can start cleaning the flesh.
so i just toss it into a bucket of bleach while its still a fish-cicle? and how do i clean it? just kinda scrub whatever is left away?

No I took it a few months ago. I didn't put it in with any of my other fish pic threads becuse I have much better sen pic's just not any with teeth showing:D

I'm so glad someone posted this thread! I was wondering the same about my bichirs. I watched one try to eat a superworm the other day and I noticed he couldn't really bite it apart, so I was wondering if they had teeth. Also I watched one struggle with a pinky mouse my hujeta spit out. He struggled for like 10 minutes before giving up, he successfully ate the eye....

I'm so happy to know that they have teeth, now I don't have to worry about them having trouble eating, maybe the food I gave them was too big for them at this time.

You can use a tooth pick or a pincer to remove the remaining flesh. No need for scrubbing as some of the teeth might fall off.

i mean my senegal bites me all the time but he's not big enough to do any damage. i have heard a couple stories of the bigger versions drawing blood but nothing too bad
