They call them "Flösselhechte" in Germany

it means something like "pike with many fins"

Its an really dumb name, becaue the don't have anything in common with pikes...

"nine fin dragon"(senegal), kong long wang(congicus or endy), pan ma kong long wang(delhezhi), "zhong guo long"(reed fish aka ropefish). It is call "Snake fish" for those who see it for the first time.

Petsmart- Dinosaur bichir, not sure how they pronounce it, I've never heard them say it before.
