  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Are you going to have a consistant one way current like a stream, I saw a cold water display set up like that. the out flow went in at one end of a long tank and all the intakes were at the other end. That was at a natural history museum and it contained trout, daces, and madtoms.

hahaha..I'm not a dude, but a gal. :grinyes:

I live in Druten, in Gelderland.

How much money are we talking about for one Datnioides microlepis?
I would really love to own one.

Don't know excacly, but it will be in the range of €200,- or more for a 5". That's mainly because of the CITES papers you (better said the fish) have got to have. And you have to get them in Germany because I have never seen one in Holland.

If I have my tank set up, I will defenatly try to get in contact with people who sell them. Because sometime you hear stories about cheaper datnoides.

I will send u a PM with the contact details if the price is right.

Or maybe a channa Channa bleheri....if it doesn't eat the bufferfly fish or bichir.

C. Bleheri is to small, maximum 6", to eat a butterfly fish or bichir unless they were small youngsters.

I would be more worried about an adult bichir eating the SH if it was one of the big ones. A tiger fish would definatly get big enough to eat one.

There are plenty of medium sized snakeheads out there that would be fine.
