Frankly im embarrassed by the lack of support you members of a COMMUNITY have given one of your members. Look up the definition of community and see if you can function at that capacity, if not then think about the underlying reasons why you posted here and why you are on this website. Thank you much. soon I might request a close of this thread if I deal with to much more negative. and I'll deal with vendors via Pm. but till then I would like to keep this open for at least another day or two and maybe something else will become constructive. there is plenty of support but the "haters" seem to want to say things louder and more often. and some even coming from out socalled "vendors" that's the suprising parts. I won't be buying anything from someone who wants to belittle me for asking for a rare fish.

I hope you didn't take my posts negatively. I'm just curious about the science behind this var./subspecies/species/? of goliath.

If I had my own GATF, I would be carefully experimenting with it to see if I could get it to turn black based on water chemistry. If I could prove that it is external factors that cause the color difference, it would save people such as yourself, thousands of dollars.

I hope you get one Koop, I also hope it doesn't fade to normal goliath color in captivity.

About a year he was was trying to locate juvenile black GATF!

He actually bought 2 or 3 pcs for a high dollar amount and was guatanteed to be Black Goliaths...
I seen them and they looked like Vittatus to me... I think a few weeks later he sold them as Vittatus

Is that all you are offering for a black morph goliath, $10K ? That won't get you far... This is one fish on my list that I want and I don't think it will go for as low as you are requesting...

Thank You I could not have put that better my self. Including the ashdavid comment lol I wonder why when they did the natgeo show on the congo and based it mostly around the GATF that they did not mention the black.
