This has acctually been thought about. but I have a baby on the way in april I can't leave the U.S. for awhile. I need someone else to do the leg work. but If I wasn't going to be a new daddy I would HIGHLY consider it.

I looked into this years ago. I know where the fish lives. And have someone who can go get some. But the guy wanted an expedition fee.

Fisherman dont go up to the black river because of rebel activity. But i know someone a couple years back who would do it but wanted an expedition fee. It used to be the same deal as the blue eyed pleco. You pay FARC a few bucks and they will let u fish in there streams then you leave.

that's what I figured from the book. He wrote that sometimes He couldn't fish certain areas for awhile till things calmed down then he could go back.

Good luck but 10K is a hell of a lotta money, i dont wanna sound ignorant or anything but why not spend that money on somthing else, you said that you have a baby on the way. Why not spend it on the baby to give it the best start in life, not a fish that could be alive one day dead the next
