Why not spend it on the baby to give it the best start in life, not a fish that could be alive one day dead the next :(

ehh babies come and go, black goliaths dont.

Good luck but 10K is a hell of a lotta money, i dont wanna sound ignorant or anything but why not spend that money on somthing else, you said that you have a baby on the way. Why not spend it on the baby to give it the best start in life, not a fish that could be alive one day dead the next :(

Good luck... if I had 10k I'd consider myself halfway towards a Hasselblad camera, not a fish. I love fish, don't get me wrong... but 10k?

I know this but trust me if I got this money for a fish the baby will want for nothing. that's not an issue. but thanks for the concern

Koop, I'm rooting for you on this and congrats on becoming a father.

thanks. I'll keep my eyes open for this guy.

Bump for anyone new.

No vendors looking yet?

Have keepers of GATF tried playing with acidity levels or using tannins in the water, or any other factors that could lead to the color change?

If I were you, I would get a normal GATF and try something like that before droping 10k on a fish that may fade to normal....

See if you can't 'make' your own black GATF

You got a PM brother. :headbang2 let me know what you know.

 sorry man, i just cant help but laugh at how ridiculous it is that you would pay $10,000 for a fish. I would never pay that much, no matter what fish it was

i could buy a nice used car and have money left over
