Bought a rhom 21.99$!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wow, how big is he now? would one be fine in a 55?

He is tipping the 3" mark, when he was dime size I had him in my 10, then when I moved my shoal the only other tank I had that was empty was my 90gal, if I had a 40b or 55 it would be fine. Imo when they hit 6ish inches they should have a 4'x18" tank, they are lightening quick.

Really cool. Love it

Thanks!

Update*

The seals on my 90gal which house my juvy 3.5" rhom are bubbling and scaring me, deciding not to risk another leak I bought a new 40b (3'x18") also my first major attempt at aquascape and plants, only blue night light is on but I think its a suitable home for him ATM until I reseal and redo the 90.

Added some other random plants and dw, really starting to like the look of this tank. Wonder what I shall put in it when he's back in the 90gal?

F1, do you know where that fish is collected? doesn't look like the typical rhom to me.

Nice tank and good luck! I am a big fan of buying small and growing out. I love large rhoms, but I am sentimental and would rather grow the fish out. I didnt start as small as you, but grew my guy from 2.5/3in to 9.5/10in over the last 14 years. Really wish I took more pictures, but back in '99 digital cameras were just starting and no such thing as a camera phone :)
