I haven’t looked at all the different types yet, but my favorite fish store just got some baby diamond back sturgeon in. I know that’s a broad name, so I’d have to find out exactly what it is. Soooooo tempting..... it’s in my price range too and that’s rare. Haha
They look so damn cute as babies and so impressive as adults. I just don’t know if I’m ready to commit to a pool in my basement every winter again. And not sure my husband would like that either.

Probably diamond sturgeon imported from Russia , how about a sterlet instead? I believe predatory fins has/had some and they are a small species of sturgeon

"Where did I get the fish from? Some guy on Craigslist was giving them away. The DNA matches to a local lake? Wow that's really unfortunate that guy seemed kind of sketchy now that I think about it. What did he look like? He had hair and skin and stuff you guys should definitely go catch him, he seemed like a baaaaaaad man."
