Breeding and maintaining mealworms

Hi. Kind of related to this, I saw a neat video on black soldier flies on YouTube. People grow these and feed the larvae to fish and chickens.

im curious , when do the beetles starts to lay eggs ?

Well it takes about a week for their shell to fully harden and before this they can get injured easily. So after a week would be fair game for when they start to lay eggs.

All you've posted about was from when you got the mealies and on!Not how the hell you got mealies back!

of course the beetles are gonna breed and make baby mealworms. if they didnt they would become instinct.
