WOW what a work of art i have been following this from the beginning, from what i see in the last pic it looks fine, on my 180 that is 60x24x30 it is 1/2 acrylic and it has a bow in it.. it is a tenecor tank and i have not had any problems with it,,, and i cant wait to see this bad boy with stock

Unfortunately I have got two small leaks on the bottom corners of the viewing panel. Nothing major but I will not be able to take it home this weekend now. Im going to just put more coats of the pond paint over the whole thing, that should sort it out.

I have done the additional four coats of pond paint overlapping the edges of the acrylic on all of the coats. I re-filled it this morning. Now we wait.

The last time it held water for at least 15 hours before the two small leaks appeared so I should know by tomorrow morning if I have sorted out the problem.

we are sitting at seven hours with no leaks now.

This F@ck?ing tank is still leaking!

Its a small leak but any leaks are bad. I'm at a loss right now as to what I can try next.

I'm going to leave it now for about a week and take some time to think it over, its just frustrating me right now.

Yes, its leaking out between the acrylic and the tank along the bottom of the panel. I will never get the acrylic panel out without destroying it. its stuck in very well.

Im thinking about putting a strip of water proofing membrane along the bottom and saturating it with pond paint, that should really seal it up nicely. I have just done a test on a spare piece of acrylic to see how well the pond paint actually sticks to it, when it is dry I will decide what to do.

3M 5200 Marine Adhesive fast cure. It comes in Black or White...;)

It will stop any leak, and I haven't found anything it doesn't stick to when it comes to wet/aquarium/marine applications...it will even cure underwater...

I have personally used it in Aquarium applications as well as food fish applications in the commercial crabbing industry.
We had zero problems when it was used on thru-hull bulkhead fittings that were in direct contact with live crab, in saltwater, that was intended for human consumption...
