i will silicon them but there is know need for screws as there is a big nut on the back to bolt them to the tank

just some more pics. of the fibreglass and the gel coat. i only went so far with the gel as i had to add the braceing .as you can see in some of the pics i have bin around the bracing with a router. this is so i can sink my windows in so the plants and fish can get some light

what sort of paint are you using?

hi everyone some more pics for you. as you can see all the bracing has bin fibre glassed and had a coat of gel. once that had gone off it was time to start on the airline. this is my d.i.y airline all i used for this was plastic oil line. i used tape to hold it in place then used silicon for a permanent fix. once silicone had gone off tape was removed and holes drilled for air flow. i didnt make holes all the way along the line as i only want bubbles in some parts of the tank. after that i used a clear gel coat on the floor then covered it in sand. the reason for this was when the gel coat has gone off you can sweep off the exes sand and you will be left with a sand bottom you never have to clean. thats the reason for clear gel coat matt. thanks for looking .

That's actually not a bad idea, only thing is i don't think you'll be able to plant anything, which may end up a problem in an amazon themed tank.
