How much you willing to spend lolTom;3644736; said:Any chance you could ship it to me?
def washed out....i saw it last week
small disc size, but the tail length still kills you. Breeds that small, but pups are even harder to keep alive, and also are worth close to nothing if you're going for profits. Colour doesnt look that great...rather just get a motoro for that price or 3 more "regular" retics.Tom;3645289; said:A ray that maxes out at 11-13 inches across, breeds at as small as 4-5 inches across and has a beautiful, rust colored pattern.
Definatley not the same as a "regular retic".
If this fish wasn't so delicate, it would be the most ideal ray for hobbyists.

Highly doubt this price would even come near the water, electric, and food bills along with other miscellaneous expenses that you spent to get your ray to that size. In short, they're small, yes, but they still don't look all that great, they're one of the most common if not the most common rays out. Theres really no profit in breeding these, even if you were only looking for money to cover the food bill. No way would I be willing to spend a dime over $50 on it. Anyways, think about it, if people cared so much about max size, most fish stores would run out of business LOL.Tom;3645327; said:The pups born in captivity are premature 99.9% of the time. This is because the females are already pregnant upon import and are severely stressed. I know of only one person who has breed them in captivity and he has had success with the pups.
Regardless of tail length, these rays are still the smallest rays on record thus far.
A captive breed and raised pup could easily command a decent price.
