MT and BJJ, Judo. Nothing else matters.
I disagree with this. Every art has something to offer. Guys like GSP and Shogun train with Freddy Roach, not just to improve their punching, but also footwork and head movement. How about the Karate of Liddel and Machida? A lot of people say Taekwondo is useless, but Pettis uses it well against MT fighters. Judo and BJJ are great, but how about the wrestling of Velasquez, Barnett, GSP and Jones.
As far as grappling goes I can't say much since I have no experience outside of High School wrestling, but I've taken a number of striking arts and Kickboxed for years. In my experience some arts are better than others, but everything has something useful and they definitely matter when your fighting a style that you've never seen before.
Just my opinion.
