one word sam.... wow...AroW;1260198;1260198 said:Keep in mind that everything and anything that we know are human interpretations of what is true and is not (yes, even the fundamental laws of physics are interpretations based on our perceptions). As such, it is subject to human flaws. Perhaps there are just some things the human brain was never designed to comprehend ... you can have expert physicists debate all they want IMO, but in the end, they are still going in mindless logical circles (albeit theirs are more complex in a sense)
Also, there is absolutely no point in making direct comparisons between what exists on Earth and out there. Most of the "things" out there are meaningless to us in every sense of the word. Just think of Earth as a nicely organized aquarium with a specific and unique order and purpose and direction--this is my unscientific interpretation of life. Anything outside is just extra random entropy, nothing more. Thats just my opinion.
Long story short: Best to focus on whats on Earth. Its what we were meant for and designed to do anyway.
Last comment: I think there is a limit on where the human logic can take us because what human logic is just drawing simple connections based on our specific experience and from inherited wirings in our brain. Things such as the beginning and the end. Good and bad. Short or long. Obviously things like infinity and eternity were created solely to give a name to something we think we know. But what if something comes up where we cant draw any possible connection to at all? For example, explain the physical meaning of prime numbers. Nobody here can do that. We know what is it, its definition, its specfial properties, how it shows up in nature and science and all, but we dont know what exactly they actually mean. Also, because of that nobody really knows how many prime numbers there are. Are there an infinite amount? Or a limited amount(if it is limited, what is the largest one that can possibly exist?) Some people spend their whole life figuring this out and no supercomputer at the moment can help us.
But if we can all grasps the concept of even numbers right. We know the definition and we can understand why it is. Even means we can seperate something equally. A knife down a pie. Fair or unfair. Good or bad. Etc. We can get as many even numbers as we want easily. Anyway Im rambling. My point is that things like prime numbers give us headaches and so do talk about the universe. .![]()
