bump the temp to get increase it's metabolism & speed it's growth rate. but remember, with increased temp, the water is able to hold less oxygen. so if you need to, get an air pump

Speed up it's growth rate? You did see that the OP claims this aro has grown 3.4" in the last month that it has had the torn fins? Not going to get much higher growth rate then that, and the fins still are not healing.

when i first got him is 4".. but one month past i measure him it reach at 7.4"..

i believe this is a record breaker for high growth rate in aro's. it must be from power feedings and aggressive water change schedule at 30%-40% / 2-day.

Wow, 3.4" in one month is really really amazing. Most I've ever seen was 2" in one month by a silver.

something I hadnt thought of earlier, what decor is in the tank, do you have big coarse shards of lava rock for substrate, and is it all crammed up with multicolored dried coral, cement statues and bubbling treasure chests/deepsea divers?
also related to that question, how skittish and jumpy is the fish? everytime you come in the room or turn on the light does he freak out and dart around like a spaz?

the only decor is the plastic background rocks with white sand and driftwood.. when im comming near his tank he always facing to me like hes begging to feed him.. he never jumps.. when im water changing he just in the upper side of the tank.. im lucky to have have this arowana very unique attitude..

yes sir.. i can't believe it he grown that size.. first i got him is 4".. i measure my fish when i first buy before i put them in the tank.. now one month later i measure him again i cant believe it.. 3.4".. i only feed him pure MP but seasonal SW and never change schedule of water change..

How do you get .4 inches? Generally inches are divided into 1/8 or 1/16.
