Caquetaia myersi

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have 5 of them about from 3"-4". So far so good. I am sure I will have to thin them out when they get larger. I think they could be kept in a group long term if the tank is large enough, aquascaped properly, and housed with other types of fish. Mine seem to want to stay in a loose group. The two largest , which I believe are males, do sometimes nip at each other but nothing to bad yet.

The tank set up looks great man but just fyi-The really like and appreciate a heavy planted set up. Does not have to be live plants but this will also help in cutting aggression getting rid of lines of sight. The are an ambush pred and like to chill out by plants and rocket towards food. Just advice from first hand experience.

I 100% agree Mine seem to love to hang out in the plants and it does seem reduce aggression. As you can see from a couple of my pics they are hanging in some plants.

So, picked up the fish today! Theyre absolutely awsome! Unfortunatly lost one. It looked kinda sad in the bag aswell and it just sunk to the bottom when I put it in the aquarium... The other four looks super healthy though! The Regani pikes are also very Active and nice lookin! (will only post pics of the Myersi in this thread check out the "pike Project from sweden thread for more pics).#SA8.jpg#SA9.jpg#SA3.jpg
