Channa gachua. Tropical or sub-tropical??

Did he have them when you got it?
Looks a little bit beaten up from that pic.

If he didn't have them, it'd be a bit more worrying unless he squeezes himself into some decor and scratched himself;
 
He hade some of them before but I "think" there have been some more since I got him. He does some digging in the sand and sometimes under the root so maybe thats why. Atleast he seems fine, he is active and eats allmost anything a give him :)
 
I have tried to get good pics of him but that didnt happen :( so here comes another bad one, but atleast his dorsal fin is up. Will continue and try to get a good pic, gonna borrow a friends camera and see if I will have better luck. Got the temperature down to around 22 C (71.6 F) and he still seems fine :)
