Coolkeith what did you use to make your tunnels or where did you buy those from? I don't really want to use PVC pipe to do it. I think it would be better with those kind of tunnels.

I built the tunnels out of 3/8" cell cast acrylic. It wasn't cheap. I spent about $200 on acrylic/supplies to build 3 bridges.

I used many of the construction idea's from fishhighway.com
There is a book you can download at http://www.fishighway.com/
It costs $10. That's what I did. It has some useful information. It's worth the $10 if you're serious about building tank bridges.

I ordered my acrylic, acrylic solvent cement (weld-on #4 and weld-on #8), and applicator bottle from
http://www.delviesplastics.com/index.html

They do a fine job in cutting the acrylic. Even with shipping costs, it's hard to beat their prices. So if you order from them, have a cut-list ready first. Tell them that it's for an aquarium and that the cuts need to be precise.

I have built 3 acrylic aquariums prior to building my bridges. So I can't say this construction method is something you want to jump into without some experience. Applicating the solvent cement to get bubble free seams takes some practice.

Good luck and let me know about your progress. I'll help out if I can.
