i have seen itGshock;3954172; said:Not necessarily. Mammalian meat and fish have two completely different structure and properties of protein. A fish digestive system is not made to digest mammalian meat. Theres so many other things such as fish fillets and pellets which you can use.
yanfloist;3956030; said:agreed, even my piranhas had a hard time digesting red meat. after that i never had the thought of feeding fish red meat. try some boiled carrots, or arowana gourmet.
Raw meat was a part of a human's diet in the past, heck even I used to eat raw beef. That doesn't mean our digestive system can handle it well...Just becuase a species is open to eating mammalian meat does not mean they are good or made for digesting it...sbuse;3956986; said:piranhnas should be the best at mammal meat as week to dead cappibaras are a good portion of their diets...
