I still think you should research your herps before you buy em ;) but this is an isolated case with a long drive.. if your a reptile nut, not just a domestic 'I want a pet' type person that doesn't do research and basically neglects the pet - then you're an idiot. but the fact that she is a reptile fiend and has back-up tanks and did the research and immediately took corrective action, doesn't make it nearly as offensive as people who would say "ah well I dont have the $$ to get another tank we will just see how he does in the desert habitat"..

Why do you not trust ppl that have done this much longer than you?The same way you hav got smarter as each year passes is the same for me and the others. This MFK reptile community at least works hard to warn against the dangers of mixing herps.Im not speaking for all the reptile community when I state that they look down on it.Its what they have pounded into my brain for the last 20 years.Im still having trouble why you dont trust ppl with far more years under their belt through trial and error along with great success.I trust ppl and respect ppl all the time who have more experience than me with things.Im just baffled on this.

I think you along with a few others are still a little sore about our last argument. I don't know why you have to keep going after me personally. I never said I didn't trust others with more experience. There are a few people I look up to in the reptile world, I have mentors and people I learn from. However, age had NOTHING to do with experience. Anyone that knows me in person can tell you that.

If you were so much more experienced and knowledgeable than I am, then you would know that mixing herps is something that advanced hobbyists can pull off beautifully. If you've never mixed species, then you are really missing out on something. And until you learn to pull it off you will never be able to say you're more experienced than someone who has.

Are you telling me that different species of geckos don't interact in the wild? o_O

Calm down, E-Thug
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=e-thug

Electronic thug. A pale, pimple faced, skinny white kid who would most likely burn up if he came into contact with natural sunlight. Spends all of his time threatening people over the internet to compensate for his lack of a life and hatred of humanity for not accepting him.
