Choosing a snake?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
it depends on what species.
a nelsons can be kept in a 20 gallon long (minimum)
but a black milk would need the 4ft.

what species were you interested in?

Ok :) These are what the stores have :)

• Hypo Het Ghost Honduran Milk
• Tangerine Albino Honduran Milk
• Snow Honduran Milk
• Anery Het. Hypo Honduran Milk

Hondurans are one of the biggest milksnake subspecies. An 18" X 36" cage is probably adequate, but 24" X 48" is better. Height doesn't much matter, they're not really climbers.

Anteresia FTW! Or go vertical with the cage and get a GTP. Thats what I'd do, although that wouldn't fit your requirements LOL. But an Amazon Tree Boa would fit your req's and work in a vertical cage taking up less space.

Snakes are best kept alone. I'm probably the most ardent species mixer you'll find on this forum, and I wouldn't mix any of those. The only snakes I have ever kept mixed are some of the tiny woodland species like ringnecks and wormsnakes, and even then it's iffy.

If the tanks atleast 12'' wide I'd go for a nice ball python.
Theyre not super active, but they're cool snakes.

I think I would rathar go with something small rathar than huge..Im only 11..Dont be annoyed or dont diss me if this dosent even work out... :(
