Cichlid teeth?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
and yeah some africans may have visible teeth but its all about your personable preference, i used to have africans and swtiched to Ca/Sa just because i think a few really big fish in your tank is more impressive and fun than a bunch of smaller ones

thanks for the comments everyone ive pretty much found out what i needed to know here. As far as the feeder thing goes ill definatly steer clear of the stuff in the pet stores and look at breeding my own.

hahahahahaha, why jump to a quick retort just for using the word un edumacated. The guy is obviously reading into it what your intentions are, you want some entertainment. When you start having problems with disease and your investments simply perish, you will turn out like 80% of the rest of the population who get into this, and just throw it all away. Or trade the system for a PS3. To some it just seems wastefull and cruel, to others, it's America, do what you will. But you may consider simply watching a bunch of YouTube videos and get your rocks off that way.

Or maybe try reptiles. Most super aggressive fish that you are talking about are very hard to maintain. They require major over filtration and frequent water changes. Not to mention much more space than a 75gallon tank. Turtles are also very aggressive like this, especially soft shell turtles.

I can only imagine your tank being a blood bath that will eventually turn the wrong corner. Not to mention that if you are using feeders, you should only be using them about once a month. The rest of the time, you should be feeding them more healthy and vitamin enriched foods.

But again, who am I? Just be mindful when you jump to a quick conclusion to calling people "dicks" or incouraging them to "enhance" things via surgury when your the one who asked for advice. However, I too must be a dick as well right?

Don't think I would want that one to get ahold of my finger.

hahaha, your right, that is your bussiness. Just don't expect EVERYONE to agree with it. The attention thing, my kids give me enough of that:D.
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to bust your chopps. Their are just SO MANY different ways anyone's paragraph can be read, that interpretation is strongly dependant on the reader. I hope you find what your looking for.

BTW, to be honest, I did the same when I first got into the hobby, some 25yrs ago. In my experience, the Red Devil and the soft shell turtle where by far the meanest beast I was able to buy at my LFS. :headbang2
