hahaha, your right, that is your bussiness. Just don't expect EVERYONE to agree with it. The attention thing, my kids give me enough of that:D.
Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to bust your chopps. Their are just SO MANY different ways anyone's paragraph can be read, that interpretation is strongly dependant on the reader. I hope you find what your looking for.

BTW, to be honest, I did the same when I first got into the hobby, some 25yrs ago. In my experience, the Red Devil and the soft shell turtle where by far the meanest beast I was able to buy at my LFS. :headbang2
thnx for understanding dude, i didnt mean to offend you or whatever either, and your right about the interpretation thing. Its just that im up here posting this kind of stuff because i want advice, and i need help. what he said had absolutely nothing to do with the question i asked, he just wanted to try and be cool or something, idk nor do i really care. Im not up here trying to make enemies or whatever but damn, shouldnt say things like that and not expect something back ya know? I simply asked, " which cichlids have visible teeth?" not " please say something totally off subject and rude to me"...anyways thnx for the post, i was actually looking at red devils.

red devil would be great wet pet to have, its mean as heck and will come right up to the front of the tank when you get close (depending on the fish, its either to bite you or beg for food haha)

yeeaahhhh im gonna have to have one of those!

^ Poor guy would never get water changes because the owner wouldn't be able to put a hand in the tank. Back on topic, salvini's are very cool and you could have a pair which cranks up the aggression a bit. I have a very entertaining and out going young midas that is an absolute pig. My friend said he has some teeth after it nipped him, but not very visible. If the feeders are safe then a few from time to time is usually ok with the fish that people are tossing out, but I don't get an appreciably greater entertainment value watching cichlids eat feeders over things like crickets or worms. Personally, my favorite fish to watch eat feeders are gars.

yeh an african tiger fish would be hot but om 300 bucks on my first fish...thats a big negative. Well i just got about a 2 inch jack dempsey, well my gf did anyway. at first he was like really shy now hes going all over the place. hes going up and down the face of the aquarium, is this normal, hes in there 5 zebra danios lol, the danios are scared to death of him, he doesnt really act like he means them harm though. is that vertical swimming normal?

hahah, dempseys are awesome! Had my fair share of those. Till I got my red devil:irked: Gulp!

As for his behavior, seems fine to me:headbang2

When you gonna get some pics????

Dig the avatar BTW, Shee????
