I just thought your mum would disapprove of you doing something with snake x, like what they are doing with the pig skull. Being repulsed by it and all. But if your mum is okay with you doing it, and if snake x is still around then by all means, start a thread and let us see how it turns out. I've seen full snake skeletons before and they are a pretty awesome site after the bones have been preserved and mounted (curled up and ready to strike). It's really a site to behold especially if it's somewhere in your house and a chum comes over and sees it for the first time. Their facial expressions are priceless.

I've done similar things like this to pike, walleye and musky fish heads, and they turned out quite sadistic and demented looking, but they also looked pretty cool too.

Good talking with ya. See ya around the site.

ok, buuuuttt i dont live with my mum so it would have nothing to do with her. she bought me up around a slaughter house so not alot phases her.
the snakes not around, she went in the bin the night she died.

Oh my God! :barf: It may be due to the fact that i am unfamiliar with skinned/stuffed animals (not a huge thing for it in England unless you are rich) in a house but how could someone find a dead pigs head stuck on a wall attractive.

Sorry I cant take it, gonna hurl now.

It's okay Spiritofthesoul. If you have to blow chunks, go ahead and do it. Just make sure you hit the commode or trash can when you do it. Those type of messes are a bugger to clean up after.

snakeguy101: Do you have any more updates on the progress of this skull, you would not mind sharing with us, or is there very little change in the final results since the last photo post? Thanks for sharing.

I will post when you can tell a difference. They have cleaned it a little more but not much. Don't worry I will keep updating.

I seldom ever worry. I am overly anxious to see the progress and final results, as most of us are. BTW, thanks for the update.

Almost ready to be degreased.

Whew! My dad shoots groundhogs and boils their skulls, then mounts them on pieces of slate in his kitchen... Bit of an obsession of his, but he's got nothing on you SnakeGuy... cool thread though, almost made my wife throw up!:headbang2
