I missed your post - it is funny how the article the OP linked to totally contradicts his own baseless assertion. :nilly:

It's all good. Our posts pretty much say the same thing. I think its funny that everyone went along with it for the first 3 and a half pages, and we posted within minutes of each other.

Oh well, people are wrong all the time. I just wish people would verify facts before trying to make arguments

Al Gore has more damage to this earth in one month of him pushing his junk then I will do in my lifetime.

Edit: Just think of all the google searches he is going to do looking for a new wife.

Not even! What turned out to be hogwash is for you guys to think that:

1) anything that man does is going to make a significant change in CO2 emissions compared to what the planet is doing by itself! :ROFL:
2) man made CO2 is even relevant!! :ROFL:

Think! If possible! :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Nice graphic!

However, the link you posted states quite clearly that the CO2 output of the Icelandic volcano is insignificant compared to humankind's CO2 output. In other words, you're wrong! :ROFL:

By the way, you waited so long to reply I thought you had conceded - I should have known you would never do that... :naughty:

thats one volcano. what about the rest of the earth?

You could be right, but go back to page one - the whole crazy rant was about the fact that this one volcanic eruption had negated all of humanity's efforts to reduce greenhouse gasses - a blatantly false assertion.

ok, ill kinda give u that

people as a whole will only be on this planet for a minute amount of time, we will kill ourselves off much faster than we can imagine. the planet will shrug us off once gone and repair itself, much like it has done time and time again in the past.
