frontosa, blood parrot, gt, geopaghus, and a arowana.
none of them really bother them, but when i throw in food they all swarm around the food.
i did see 1 clown nibble a piece of zucchini but it floated to the top and he just swam away.

is the zucchni laying on the bottom of the tank.. how many clowns are there together? These guys are skiddish even when they don't have anything to fear.. so i would just give it a little more time..and do a water change if you think it is needed because of food that may not be eaten but with all those others in there i am sure they help themselves..clowns are pretty good scavengers too .. so they may be eating with out you even knowing it..

the zucchini is floating at the top and the filters will move it to the bottom, how do i make it stay at the bottom? there are only 2 together right now, when my ac110 comes next week all 6 of the clowns will be going into their own tank with a 3 inch datnoid.
they might be eating a little, but their bellies are never full, and if i feed them at night come back an hour later there is still food on the bottom

you either have to weigh the zucchni down with some kind of a clip {weight}or you have to blanch the veggie in microwave in a little water for a couple of minutes..i slice mine thin and then if it is soft enough it floats right down to the bottom. {make sure it is cooled down} .they won't eat it if it is floating around on the top or middle.. it has to be flat on the bottom.. and then they gang up on it ..when you blanch it takes some of the nutrients out..raw is better for them.. but they love it both ways and it gives them fiber they need..

woke up and most of the zucchini is gone, not sure if they ate it though.
1 loach has a small indent where the belly is and the other one has a flat belly, im guessing they still arnt eating?

are loaches good with earthworms?

i do not know anything about feeding loaches earthworms.. but glad to hear some of the veggie was gone.. at least i can assume they ate it.. but i know my severums and africans eat it too..

since i have my 46 bow with not filter, impeller broke would it be ok to put them in there with the 4 other loaches? the bb is in a bag siting in the tank and there is a powerhead that blows air. i would do water changes every half week untill next week sometime when my ac110 comes. would that be ok?
