ive got my single loach on waffers, krill, hikari pellets and shrimp pellets

That diet is definitely adequate. I would add bloodworms. They are cheap and bring out color.

My loaches will eat anything. They love Chingmix! They'll eat anything my FH eats...I still cant get them to grow koks though :)

i use to feed them bloodworms until they would eat the krill before the bloodworms and then the worms just got sucked in the filter without much of them being eaten

well i fed mine bloodworms for the fish 2 weeks.. then i ran out.. and decided to feed them market shrimp.. they love it.

They will eat almost any type of invert seafood like that.

what are they dying from would be my question.. were they skinny and not eating, did they look like they had some ICK.. which because they have no scales seems to do them in quicky unless you see it right away.. is there a possibility something in your water is effecting them..like if it is too hard or too soft.. they are tough but yet very sensitive and once you have them thriving then your usually all set.. but they do require the right clean pristine water because of being a no scale delicate fish.. also what are their tank mates..and are they doing well?? wish you luck with new ones.
