  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
wow good post I could have use that for my science fair..lol

Sorry I didn't read all the post but what about

Bichirs

Jack Dempsey can grow to 7+ inches
And very agressive in smalltanks

Some species of crayfish

Most beginners start a tank that is less then 30 gallons

You listed most of my favorite fish to keep! The big nasties are the best!

Great post, it's crazy what people will buy to put in their small tank's, without doing any research what so ever. Example : "Just got a RTC for my 20g tall, how long till I need to upgrade?" "Is it true he won't out grow the size of the tank?" :irked::(:nilly:

ID sharks are too common for my comfort I see them all of the time in chain stores.

Why don't all the newbies just do some research before purchasing. It takes 2 clicks on the internet.

how can one do that when they're at the store? I don't see pet shops offering internet kiosks

hell I dont see people researching what breed of dog they're buying when they're cute cuddly wuddly puppies so its as bad all around same goes for cute little teeny fish they think is the most adorable littlest critter in the world.

I think you need a part about "fw" puffers since many require brackish to be happy and many just toss them in with whatever tank setup they have. not good all around
