Not that difficult to do, the "flurry" of activity I noticed was her literally throwing herself at him. Getting right in his face and exhibiting the most over the top show of readiness to mate I've ever seen from a convict. He remained completely oblivious to her performance...oh I know he saw her, he just wasn't impressed.

My female flowerhorn does that to the convict.

Its never that though except for this one instance, its always the male that wants to breed and the female is unresponsive.

An sb female fry from Titus X sb Texas would be superb to cross back to pure Green Texas.

Despite Titus' obvious interest, the sb texas female doesn't seem too interested in him at all. I changed her out for the pink con female, he does allow her to be near him all the time. And I never worry about a divider with her, shes too damn quick and aggressive. Aggressive in the sense that she adamantly wants to spawn NOW, and pursues Titus to this end relentlessly. It's so damn funny to see...he'll try to act his usual self with her and she's like the girl that drank too much Tequila at a frat party.

Lol, my male Sunny has been "motorboating" constantly around Polly. Hopefully next week they will spawn again and the dumbass won't eat the eggs as she lays them.

Yeah it is sorta nice but I already have 200+ fry from them. This batch will be left with mom and dad, no efforts will be made to rear them on their own. What ever makes it makes it.
