This is still a design phase/planning. There will be 2 ~100G tanks (see photo) then the big, 800G tank above them. The small ones below will have just the corner filter and a drip system in place. The 800G, will have an Ultima II, the 2 corner filters with pumps that will run 2 overhead sumps. It will also be on a drip, although the drip for these will be more of a bulk water change. Fill a container underneath, when it reaches a certain level, pump into the respective tank and extra water will filter out. This way the water reaches room temperature before going into the tanks. I have a thread over on the DIY with the 1st of the ~100G tanks almost completed. Just need glass and to silicone seems.

I don’t think you really need to worry about the temp of the drip unless you’re dripping a lot. With 800g, a drip should have minimal impact. I used my corner filters to hide my heaters and drain for my drip system.

Well, my drip is running outside of my house so if there is a leak it will mess up my yard and not my floor. More worried about putting in 100* water during the summer. At 4gph that could addel up and cause some issue. I could be wrong but it's a simple fix.
