Finally got a picture of my "charcoal black" congicus. I don't think it's blind but something funky definitely going on with its eyes. I see its pupils/eyes move and it moves when I get close to the tank. Can't wait till it grows monster!!

Hey brother, thanx for the kind words. It's just a regular wild caught congicus (congo) brought in originally from Ray (amazing fish). I wanna say it's super dark due to its funky eyes but then again if you look at post #68 you'll see a pic of an extremely dark farahna endli which has perfectly good eyes. I also have a very dark nigerian lap which again has perfectly good eyes. This congicus (from what I was told by the original buyer/owner) is its been this dark since purchased from Ray. I got it really skinny but has started eating very well since adding the garnet sand. ...... a very nice touch when its next to my other congis. And don't wait to find one like this anytime soon.....![]()
This one is turning out to be a stunner (IMO). Very surprised about this one. Head has like 5/6 hues of milky white, greens, reds, browns, copper, blacks, etc. Can't wait to see this one in a couple of years. Not sure on the species. Maybe a hybrid? 100% Wild Caught.
