CRAZY STOCKING??

nitrates cant be zero but they can be undetectable on the strips. Also i have no idea how your nitrates are that low unless your doing water changes every other day. because even with my 100g 6' running a sump and twice a week water changes of ~40%, my nitrates still sit at around 5-10. None of my fish in that tank are full grown either.
 
I dunno I do 25% water change every week, add cycle once a month, and I got fluval 405 packed with charcoal and bioballs, and a otto canister (forgot model but BIG) also packed with charcoal and bioballs, an inline 98 watt sterilizer on it.

I hope your 500gal. is built soon. That's far too many fish for that size tank with its minimal filtration. They may be somewhat small now but most of your stock will grow to be large fish. If you find a 75gal or larger tank to hold at least half of your stock until your 500 is ready, I think that would be a little better. Good luck.

Your filtration and water change frequency are below what should be done for a properly stocked 125. And you are bragging about it?

dale that would be a colorful tank but i would do all that in like A 96''x35x40 or something, that would be the only way in my opinoion or better yet a pond:)
 
That is what I love about this site CRITICISM, If it works it works, no i am not misleading people either. And NO I am neither bragging. Why do I keep fish? For the hobby And love of it!! I have been keeping fish for about 20 years.Why do you keep fish ?? As long as the fish seem content and my water parameters are in check then what is so wrong with it ???
