Custom 3D-BackGrounds!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Think your on the right path..you should definately empty tank to attache background..the green section is good if you have styrofoam attach to mor then one side is a plus. Seems that yoou got good tips...I made my background but it took 7 pieces to complete...you have to try to make your pieces big enough and as thick as you can so it won't fall apart, but not to big to where you can fit them in the tank because of your center brace... like I said imy background I made took seven pieces 9 if you count the fake rocks I made to match...good luck I will subscribe to check how u doing..

Thanks means alot!!!!! I'm deff going to do this And it started with all your help I'm going to take baby steps tho !!!!!!

Baby steps are good.......it been taking me forever to do my background but it was a whole thing I had to build my sump..fix my stand..buy stuff.it adds up but its way cheaper than a 200 dollar background..

yes 100% non toxic when dry I've used it in countless vivariums you just spray it along the back of the tank or a mold if you're tank is full then cover it in gorila glue or epoxy and coat with peat moss gravel sand moss whatever you want also just buy the red can they're the cheapest the pond foam is a total rip off stay away

Now what is I wanted to take slate a small but slightly heavy piece an glue/silicone the PVC to the slate and then styrofoam to the top of the PVC do you think that could work ??
