Decisions, Decisions. Polys in a planted tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Can you redirect your current so it's less at the top? Floating plants also help out the ABFs and would help temper the current maybe?

Curious to see what fish you'll end up with!
I can redirect the current, but then it wreaks havoc on the rest of the water column. That whole aspect is kinda turning into a catch 22.

Growth update! The first of my stock has been added! I decided on some tiger barbs as my mid-level fish. I've never actually owned any and I absolutely love the way they look. I'm going to be adding a few at a time until I reach somewhere between 12 and 18. And after that, I'll probably add 6 ropes once I'm satisfied with how my plants have grown in and that will be it!

I also need suggestions on what y'all might add to address algae in my tank! I've got a wicked hair algae problem on the wood. The look doesn't bother me a whole lot because I think it adds to the aesthetic I'm going for, I just don't want it to get out of hand and take over the tank.
