She got off pretty easy with a punch to the face, I rather be punched than tazzed or pepper sprayed. Cause that hurts a whole lot more than a punch lol WAY MORE.

Not a single bystander made a move to help the officer. That's appalling that they were more interested in getting the video. The cop should have used his pepper spray in a wide fan pattern to back the idiot mob up. And the main vidiot actually thought he could get all Walter Cronkite and interrupt the officer with questions. Now, there's a great candidate for baton-usage.
He lost his temper and popped her in the face. I'm not passing judgement on who is right or wrong. I'm just saying that he lost his temper and hit her. I think he could've used more agression in restraining her and there would not have been a need for a punch. He should've used the element of surprise. He could've used speed, strength and stealth force to put her down on the ground and subdue her in a matter of seconds. The punch was ineffective. It did not hurt her. It just pissed her off. Since when is a punch the most effective way to subdue a suspect?
A little off topic but....I remember when I was a kid..we lived in this little town in washington state...my dad was passed out behind the wheel of his car (heavy drinker) when he didn't respond, the officer sicked his police dog on him..ripped the whole back of his calf off..had to have major reconstructive surgery...never walked the same after that..so my point is...don't mess the Washington state police!

i'm surprized this cop didn't take the chic in the black down and plant her face on concrete.
imo, punch, kick, taze, spray,........... all would've been justified. i think he took way too long trying to control her. she or anyone else could've came up and grabbed his gun or something. this just adds to his experience, i'm sure he'll only get better as time goes

Haha...Yeah I hear ya. Honestly crowds just like that is the reason I avoid going to Seattle at all cost (unless it is to look at fish stores of course) Like oddball said, the "idiot mob" of rambling, loud, repeating themselves, obnoxious kids are EVERYWHERE. Dog, He should have definitely given her a baton to the dome piece, yo. Oh oops, watching this video made me feel like a gangsta for a second.
